Margaret Reeves
Margaret arrived in Shetland from the south of England, via Uganda. She works as a GP, and has been involved in the work of several charitable organisations in the past. She feels that she has found her true home in Shetland along with her family.
She has always had a deep appreciation of the natural environment, and is committed to its protection, and to its future in a changing climate. Coming to Shetland, she has been captivated by the richness of cultural and social heritage in her new home. She is particularly interested in the way cultural heritage is passed between the generations and sees Shetland Amenity Trust as having a vital role in this process.
