We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced individual to join our team!

Shetland Amenity Trust is seeking to appoint a Peatland Project Officer to become an integral part of our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced individual that has the ability to work with landowners and managers, machine operators and partner organisations to lead, develop and deliver peatland restoration projects across Shetland.

NatureScot’s Peatland ACTION programme restores damaged peatlands in Scotland. It is integral to the government’s determination for peatland to store carbon and contribute wider benefits for biodiversity, water management and green recovery. Shetland Amenity Trust will

employ the postholder on behalf of Peatland ACTION in Shetland.
