Shetland Nature Festival
Shetland Nature Festival 2020 has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic
Shetland Nature Festival was established in 2007 and covers all aspects of Shetland’s unique natural heritage. With a programme that includes everything from guided walks to family days out and evening talks there's something for everyone. For more details click here.
The festival also incorporates a number of events in celebration of European Geoparks Week to encourage interaction and learning opportunities with Shetland's stunning and varied geology.
Shetland Amenity Trust works with a number of different partners to deliver this event, including RSPB Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage. For the past few years, Our Dynamic Earth have also joined the event, delivering a series of workshops on various topics.
For natural heritage, this truly is a festival not to be missed. The event programme is usually uploaded around June each year and the eventtypically takes place in the first week of July.
