Ecological Services
Shetland Biological Records Centre (SBRC) has carried out ecological surveys in Shetland since 2000. Being based in Shetland means that our survey staff have an intimate knowledge of the islands’ varied flora and fauna and allows us to modify existing methodologies to best suit the Shetland environment and to interpret results in a Shetland context. We are experienced in a range of ecological surveys and have carried out work for a number of large clients in recent years including:

Our survey team consists of three staff members:
- Paul Harvey (BSc in Ecology and member of CIEEM)
- Howard Towll (BSc and MSc in ecology)
