SAT now administers a Morewoods Forestry Grant Scheme in Shetland on behalf of the Woodland Trust for Scotland. This enables crofters/smallholders to claim up to 80% of the cost of trees and treeguards for a minimum of 0.1 Hectares (approximately 300 trees) up to 1 Hectare (approximately 3000 trees). The application is written and submitted by SAT keeping the amount of trouble to the applicant to a minimum.
