Contributing to our database is easy. Just fill in the form below, click 'submit' and your record will be sent to us. If you have multiple records you wish to submit as a batch, you can download our spreadsheet and email it to or post it to the address on the contact us page.

Nature in Shetland is a non-profit site which was created in 1996 to gather and share information on all aspects of Shetland's natural history. Please send all bird sightings (other than those associated with SBRC surveys) to administrator@nature-shetland.co.uk where they will be added to the site and the Shetland bird report, published by Shetland Bird Club.  Details of daily sightings can be found on their website and Facebook page. 

Records received by SBRC will be submitted to the relevant National Bodies unless they relate to sensitive species, or we are instructed otherwise.
