Submitting an application to the Northern and Western Isles Woodland Creation Scheme

There are a number of preliminary requirements before an application can be made to this scheme. You will need a Business Registration Number for the land on which the application refers to. If you do not have this number, you must submit a Land and Business Change form. Guidance on completing this can be downloaded here. An Ordinance Survey map will be required showing the location and you will need to state the area concerned. See guidance on mapping. These documents need to be submitted to the Scottish Government Rural Payments and Inspections Division at Charlotte House in Lerwick, along with a BACS form with details of the bank account grant money is to be paid into.
